Today we had Brady's 9th Birthday Party. This year we changed are plans from the typical theme home party to having an activity plus a party. Brady wanted to go roller skating! We all met up at the Eldridge Skatepark. We skated for 2 hours. Even Annie and Mya skated (they are only 4). Also, Nana Judy and Papa Bud went skating! How cool is that!
The kids sang Happpy Birthday, did the chicken dance, and the Hokey Pokey.

Check out Annie. She can go around the rink all by herself! No help needed. She is very slow, but she is working so hard and I am simply amazed.
After skating we headed back to the house for cake and presents. Brady picked out the baseball cake. He's playing baseball this year and thought this was cool. He wanted the lettering in "Cubs" colors!

Lastly, after cake, presents, snowcones, and popcorn, the boys played basketball and kickball.
This year Grandma Joyce, Grandpa John, Nana Judy and Papa Bud were able to attend Brady's party. We love it when we get all are grandparents there!
And last but not least, we ended the evening with a bombfire and s'mores!Here's to being 9!
